Laboratório Dominguez is an historic family-owned Argentinean Laboratory, currently under the third generation of management by a member of the Domínguez family. The company originally specialised in herbal medicines: the founder, Professor Juan Aníbal Domínguez, was a keen botanist. A dramatic reshuffle in 1990 saw Laboratório Dominguez focus on the therapeutic areas of gastroenterology, endoscopy, radiology, and abdominal surgery. Laboratório Dominguez are also the market leaders in sales of Folic Acid. Labratorío Dominguez are present in Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile.
