Proprietary Association of Great Britain (PAGB)
PAGB is the UK trade association for manufacturers of branded over-the-counter medicines and food supplements. Over-the-counter is the term used for medicines that can be bought in pharmacies and in other retail outlets without a prescription. Some of the medicines can only be sold in pharmacies and pharmacists are required to supervise their sales and ask questions before supplying them to customers.
