Hungarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (MAGYOSZ)
Our Association was founded in 1990. Its main tasks include reconciliation and representation of the professional interests, networking between the members, monitoring local and foreign pharmaceutical research, development, production, trade and economic activities and providing professional information to members accordingly. It initiates, coordinates, organizes concerted action when it comes to enforcing members' interests.Ordinary members of MAGYOSZ can be legal persons or business associations without legal personality engaged in the production, research, development, control and marketing of medicinal products and paramedicines or any of these.
MAGYOSZ has ordinary, supporting and honorary members.
MAGYOSZ is member of the Hungarian Association of Employers and Industrialists, a body where the players of economy conciliate and represent their interests as employers.
MAGYOSZ maintains good working relationship with other pharmaceutical associations operating in Hungary. With them we jointly operate an Ethics Committee based on a common Code of Ethics of Pharmaceutical Communication. In matters pertaining to the whole of the chemical industry the Hungarian Chemical Industry Association is being consulted.
MAGYOSZ is member of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Associations (IFPMA), the Association of the European Self-Medication Industry (AESGP), the Association of the Food Industries for Particular Nutritional Uses of the European Union (IDACE) and the International Special Dietary Foods Industries (ISDI).
