At the beginning of the 1900s, Commendatore Alfredo Gentili founded the Galenic Institute, later renamed Istituto Gentili S.p.A., then acquired by MSD in 1997. This enabled the creation of Abiogen Pharma S.p.A.: a new company with still 80 years of experience.Open to in and out licensing, they have high technology facilities to also provide contract manufacturing services.
