Top Employers 2009: further recognition for excellence at Chiesi , Chiesi

Chiesi was chosen for the following reason: “Investments made in Research and Development have constantly increased year after year and account for 15% of the company’s turnover. They have put Chiesi in first place among the Italian pharmaceutical companies and among the top companies overall for level of R&D investment. The new research centre is currently being built, where there are expected to be 350 researchers from all over the world by 2011”.
What’s new about this report is that the selected companies agreed to open their doors to assessors chosen by CRF. An economics reporter was sent to each certified company and allowed to freely observe, interview heads and staff and describe what life in the company is like in short reports which include a profile and an evaluation of each company.
CRF is a Dutch publishing company which – thanks to research methodology accredited by the Dutch Ministry for Economic Affairs –has analysed and certified the Top Employers in 10 countries and 3 continents since 1991, publishing an annual report in each country on those companies which are regarded as achieving excellence in human resource management and therefore authorised to exhibit the “Top Employers” quality seal.
