Tianjin Binhai hopes for biopharm industry development, commits RMB 10billion, GBI

Tianjin Binhai New Area, a science and technology park, plans to invest RMB 10 billion over the next five years to promote biopharmaceutical industry development, Xinhuanet.com reported July 29. RMB 5 billion of the investment will go into the Biopharmaceutical Industry Development Fund to support industry-related companies.Currently, there are over 100 biopharmaceutical companies in the Tianjin Binhai New Area.
