Wuhan Humanwell coughs up RMB 50 million for new pharmaceutical subsidiary, GBI

Wuhan Humanwell Hi-tech Industry Company (SHA:600079) announced August 27 that the company plans to found a new pharmaceutical subsidiary, Humanwell Puke (Renfupuke) Pharmaceutical (Wuhan) Company, with an investments of RMB 50 million, Shihua Financial Information reported.
The new company will be mainly engaged in development, manufacturing and marketing over-the-counter drugs (mostly in soft capsule formulation) and health products for US and EU market. Accroding to Humanwell, the facilities of the company will be in compliance with the US Food and Drug Administration's cGMP standards for soft capsules.
