Sinopharm to establish new distribution center in Xiamen, GBI

Sinopharm plans to invest in a medical distribution center in Xiamen, Fujian Province, www.xmnn.cn reported August 29. According to the report, the Xiamen government signed a framework for cooperation with Sinopharm August 6 this year, and establishing a distribution center is one of the ten projects outlined in the agreement.
Sinopharm will begin construction in 2010. The new center is expected to distribute RMB 10 billion worth of drugs annually as well as function as a regional medical distribution center by supplying drugs to surrounding cities.
