Cornelia Yzer , VFA
After graduating in Legal science and economics and becoming a lawyer in 1989, Mrs Cornelia Yzer worked as a lawyer and later on as a senior associate at Bayer AG.
From 1992 to 1994 she became the Undersecretary of State for the Federal Ministry for Women and Young People and from 1994 to 1997 she occupied the same position at the Federal Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Technology.
Since 1997 she became the CEO of the influential Association of Research-based Pharmaceutical Producers in Germany (VFA).
